Follow the path along the river past the Portrack Marsh Nature Reserve to the White Water Course. Continue past the Tees Barrage and the Teesside Water Sports Centre and follow the path under the Infinity and Princess Diana Bridges.
Continue along the Riverside until you reach the Millennium Bridge. Use the ramp up to the bridge and cross back to the south shore. Take a left a Columbia Drive past Dunedin House and back to the riverside path.
Once back under Princess Diana Bridge the route turns right and follow the inland waterways. You will see the replica HM Bark Endeavour ship moored on the north shore before crossing a small bridge to follow the canal back on the opposite side.
Once back on the rivers edge head back under the Infinity Bridge. With the Tees Barrage back in sight it’s a short dash to the finish line to collect your finishers goody-bag.
